The data support officer collects data and ensures the integrity, precision and functionality of internal data, external data and databases. Typical data are – amongst others – sell-in, sell-out, customer, market, product and pricing. Based on this data, the data support officer is able to create detailed analyses with value adding insights for sales, marketing, management, … This is a supporting role within the data team with main focus on the data and supply chain process, but occasionally also providing support for customer service. He/she will be reporting to the data excellence manager.
Data collection and data processing (25%):
- Accumulate monthly sell-out data from wholesalers
- Calculation of rebates
- Gather market data
- Ad hoc research for missing customer information
Data quality (25%):
- Manage the link between internal and external customer information
- Safeguard the minimum required customer information on several platforms
- Close follow-up of membership lists coming from all customer organizations
- Create visibility of missing customers based on sell-out data
Data analysis (15%):
- Maintenance of existing reports
- Initiate the creation of new reports to gain additional insights
- Handling requests for ad hoc reports
Supply Chain (15%):
- Updating stock files and sales files for internal and external usage
- Preparation of supply plan
- Preparation and upload of sales forecast
CRM admin (10%):
- Detailed maintenance of existing customer information
- Creation of new customers
Customer Service – back-up role (10%):
- Order handling in the ERP system
- Communication with customers as well as colleagues both in Dutch and French
- Execution of various administrative tasks

Essential requirements:
- Commercial bachelor diploma or equivalent through experience
- Excel power user, able to use a multitude of functions
- Proficient knowledge of Dutch and French
- Working experience with a CRM system
- Experience in data management and reporting
